OK, so here is what’s going on now:
On Thursday she was suppose to come and get Jo-jo, but she still knew she didn't have a place for him. So she asked if I could keep him, just until she got settled... I said no prob. and asked her if she wanted to see him, because we were at the dog park. She said yeah, and met us there. She saw how happy he was running and playing with Bailey, and said she loves him and wants to be with him, but it was just all so confusing for her. Which I understand because it's a hard thing to-do. So I got a text yesterday saying "I think it would be best that [he] stays with you guys. He looked so happy with your dog. As soon as my taxes come in I'll pay the neutering, and let you know. ... He does have an appointment for pictures next Saturday." So I was excited, but still until I have a registration paper in my hands I will not get too excited. So it was nice to hear but I still didn't get my hopes up.... then I texted her back, and asked when we could get the vet papers and such.... she texted back right away "how about tomorrow morning?" That really surprised me, but I'm still not letting myself get too excited. ...but it is exciting! So today she texted that the only paper work she could find was for puppy shots... I was like ok, maybe this isn't happening, but then she called me and this is the bottom line: Her vet is Annemarie LOL, (our vet) and she called her to say that he would be coming in, to get his final puppy shots and rabies, and that she would pay for it, but that he is now my dog. And his fixing appointment is still for the 25th, and that he is my dog, but to bill her for the fix. Any expense after that is going to be me. So Woot! She also explained about the pictures, she had an appointment for some professional pictures to be taken of him. but when she called to cancel they said to bad you still have to pay a studio fee... so she said it's cheaper just to get the pics, and she wanted to have Bailey and Kyla in the pictures also. I said yeah that would be great but I donno if all three of them will sit still.... I've been trying to get a pic of all three of them and one is always a blur. But she said they are really good there. so we will see. I said if we get a good shot of all three, I will go half in with her, if not then, she can just do the pic with her and Jo-jo. And so that sounds, nice, cause I needed a more up to date pic of Kyla too. Looks like it will be official soon! I feel like one of those Discovery Health channel families adopting... tonight on adoption story - Robin and Kyla have one dog and three cats and although very happy with their family, feels compelled to adopt, to share in another puppy's life. A chance encounter leads the Simmons to Swagga which the family falls in love with and renames Jo-jo. But all is not smooth sailing. Will the Simmons get there new baby boy?
