Matt called at 8:54pm but I don't have $ to put on the phone system so we can talk :(
all I get is: you have a call from [(in his voice) Matt Simmons ] an inmate at fond du lac county jail.

It sucks that I have no $,but I get to at least sorta hear his voice, and at least I know he's thinking of us :)

As you can plainly see Our_space has not been updated for a while...
we have been busy spending time together as a family.
Saturday we went to church at 5:30 and after that matt wanted to meet up with some of his friends that where camping. We couldn't camp because the weather has been so cold lately and shay is just to lil.
Unfortunately, this morning at 10:11am I got a call from an odd number...
then an automated voice came on and said you have a call from an inmate at Fond du Lac county jail. Would you accept a call from (then in his voice) Matt Simmons?
WHHHHHHAAAATTTTT?
I was beyond stunned!
We only had a minute, but
he asked said he was in jail and Love ya and stuff, then he asked if I could let his parents know he was in.
well I couldn't get through to his parents so I called Adam and asked him to try and get a hold of matt's parents.
Wail on the phone one of the first things he said was that he put my name and the kids’ names on his visit list.
So I went on the county website, and found a number!
He called again at 4:30 but we had no talk time :(
so the website said they had visitation from 5-7 on Sundays, so I called them up and asked how and if we could visit.
The girl on the phone said yes, and also told us that he was being held for a parole violation and will be transferred too H.O.C.
Then I snagged the kids and went as fast as we could...
Kyla and I made it up there in grandpa bob-bob's truck
....then they wouldn't let us see him!
I told her I called before I came, and I drove all the way from Milwaukee, in a truck I don't trust to go around the block!
She said we aren't on his list!
There are only two names on his visit list!!!! WTF!!!!
Kyla Shayna and I aren't on it.
Kyla was really said, she kept asking where daddy was. I told her he was in this building.
Then she would ask why she couldn't see him. And I told her the truth...
"I don't know, baby."
We sat in the truck for a minute and cried as it started to rain.
Then we started the long drive home.
I am still in shock that he was taken.
When he left we didn't really say goodbye.
I mean we did, but it was just a see ya tomorrow kiss, and such. No hug even.
He is just suddenly missing from our lives.
We were all looking forward to Kyla's first day of school (which is this Wednesday) we wanted to walk her there together.
Shayna can tell something is up and she looks for him. :(
He has been so good to us. When I went to work, he made sure to get the dishes done, and finish the laundry. And he would rub my back after work :( we have been going to church-, and he started to read the bible.
He was 100% dedicated to his family. We knew that something like this may happen but still I never expected him not to come home that morning :'(
We all miss him like crazy, I hope that maybe he can talk to his P.O. and get everything cleared up and get out soon. But if not... He could be in for 2 yrs! I don't know if we could handle that. Shayna and Kyla would be so big then :(

Today we had a meeting at the elementary school, to see if Kyla can get in next year! :))
The teacher said Kyla tryed very hard, and we were very proud of her!. The teacher even gave her a little present for being so good. It was a little strawberry shortcake doll, with a brush and dress. So cute :) So Kyla is on to the next step, hopefully she will get in! :D She was so happy, hat she even got to go to school today! (even though it wasn't an official school day.)

Today Kyla was invited to a birthday party! Alexis was turning 4. Kyla, Anastasia and Alexis had lots of fun playing together! Kyla was really happy because she hasn't been in school, since I'm on maternity leave, and Julianna is in California visiting relatives. So she had a blast playing with people her size :)
